Ringtones are the mobile phone melodies which are played during or the start of the call and the ringtone own loading is a very popular and desirable activity these days. Since the development of the first mobile phone series they allowed users to manually compose polyphonic ringtones which made the user very much interested in the composition and creativity of their own melodies. These types of phones were first introduced in Japan which attracted some major attention and liking among the tech public. Which gave an author of the book of the art of polyphonic ringtones which was a major success across Japan and millions of copies were sold in Japan alone.
After this huge success in Japan these ringtone enabled phones hit the world market and caused a huge market sale in almost every continent. Countries like the US and other European countries were the first to adopt the change of mobiles that offered ringtones.
The tones at that time were the monophonic ringtones which were a simple set of the different notes played at different intervals of time but as with the passage of time the demand increased for such type of phones which in turn gave rise to the polyphonic type of ringtones. Mobile phone companies had to adopt for the demand for the increasing demand of the phones capable of the media playing capabilities also with due regard to make them capable of customizing ringtones like the monophonic ringtones. Mobile phones were the most fast and expanding mobile device ever. And the countries not yet accessed by the ringtones enabled phones were fatly importing the devices.
Polyphonic ringtones were the most desired future in the mobile phones of that era. People used to share their ringtones by the short text messaging service and by the help of the multimedia messaging service .Some also used the infrared and some Bluetooth tech for the transfer of their newly created ringtones
But the problem was that not all the mobiles of that time were capable of such type of connectivity features. So people were still using the old sums an mms methods for the transfer of such ringtones even with the existence of new mobile connectivity mediums but now a days there is no need of the mobile phones be connected physically but only with the Bluetooth tech they can be transferred
With the advancement in the mobile phone technology there were such phones introduced in which there was the capability of both polyphonic and monophonic ringtones so the network service providers tried to offer more and more downloadable ringtones.
Although the success of the previous version of the mobile phones was a hard fact but the mobile phone companies ventured further into the world of ringtones as they developed the true tones which was a more advanced type ringtone in which real voices and music was played public accepted it and was very fast to start downloading them.
